The SWS Race Club is affiliated with BC Sailing, CYA, ISAF, CKA, and IKA. For all Squamish races and all other IKA and ISAF races in international locations, racers must be a member of a club like the SWS Race Club.

On Aigust 26, 2012 the SWS presents the third annual Kiteoween costume event in the tradition of a light hearted costume day where kiteboarders dressed up in costumes compete in an easy going contest. This has been a very popular event for participants and spectators. See you there.

2012 SWS Kite Racing - Summer Series
The Squamish Windsports Society (SWS) invites all kiteboarders to participate in the 4th annual Kiteboard Course Racing Summer Series.
Four days of racing are scheduled for June 3rd, June 16th, July 8th and July 29th. Each race will contribute to the series scoring.

2011 SWS Kite Racing - Summer Series
The Squamish Windsports Society (SWS) invites all kiteboarders to participate in the 3rd annual Kiteboard Course Racing Summer Series.
Three days of Spring series-scoring racing is scheduled for May 15th, May29th and June 18th. Followed by 3 dates for the Summer Series July 16th, Aug 21st and Sept 17th.

The Squamish Windsports Society (SWS) is very pleased to announce the 2010 West Coast Open Regatta and 2010 Canadian National Championships Regatta. August 20-22nd.

2010 SWS Kite Racing - Summer Series:
The SWS invites all kiteboarders to participate in the 2nd annual Kiteboard Course Racing Summer Series.
Four days of series-scoring racing is scheduled for June 12th, July 10th, August 28th, Sept 11th.
2009 SWS Kite Race Series:
2009 Champion: Stefano Rista
Well, the Wednesday evening series is over. We had a lot of bad luck with weather, only managing to run races on 4 of the 9 scheduled evenings, and only for those with large kites and good boards. But we did learn that racing is very possible, fun and exciting, with Squamish as a perfect venue. The interest level is high. Next year we will take the lessons learned, work out some kinks, and move the schedule for weekend daytime events to make full use of the excellent conditions normally afforded by the area.
Thanks to all the competitors. We appreciated your patience in this first trial year, and we'll see you on the race course next year!
